This past weekend Disneyland Resort held their first ever Halloween-themed Half Marathon Weekend.
This RunDisney weekend is just one of six RunDisney yearly events. With so many weekends, RunDisney has become a year-around travel experience!
RunDisney races have been going on since 1994,and have grown in size every year since. RunDisney races include 5Ks, 10Ks, 10 Milers, Half-Marathons, Marathons, and challenges. Racers as young as 5 years old can register for Disney’s 5K courses. Making RunDisney a memorable event for the whole family!
If you are new to RunDisney, then you probably aren’t familiar with the term, “Runcation“. Athletes who plan their Disney trips around race weekends call them, “runcations.” So why not enhance your next Disney vacation by experiencing your first ever RunDisney race? RunDisney races are not your typical races. In true Disney fashion, there are always character themes, athletes dressed in costumes, and rare character meet and greets throughout the courses.
