1. Hollywood Studios Opened May 1st, 1989, and was originally a working movie studio and was called Disney MGM Studios! The name later changed in 2008 because they no longer wanted to focus on making movie there but immersing guests into their favorite movies! Today we have wonderful and immersive lands like Toy Story Land and Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge!
2. Outside the attraction entrance to Mickey and Minnies Runaway Railway is the only place that you can find Audrey Hepburn’s handprints! This attraction facade is supposed to be a replica of the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood. In Hollywood you can also find many celebrity handprints but not Audreys!
3. Echo Lake in Hollywood Studios is based off of a real lake in LA! Although the one in California doesn’t have Gertie the Dinosaur that sells ice cream, so I think ours is better!
4. The Brown Derby Restaurant inside the park is based off of a real restaurant in LA that Walt Disney himself and his many celebrity friends used to dine at! You are truly dining like Walt when you are at Hollywood Studios!
5. When you first walk into the park you come across the Crossroads of the World sign with a Mickey Mouse on top, this is based off a real landmark in LA that marks the start of an open-air market!
