Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is teaming up with one of the world’s biggest video games this fall. For the first time ever, Fortnite’s iconic Fortnitemares event is coming to life as an immersive scare zone at both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.
Debuting August 28 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3 at Universal Studios Hollywood, the all-new experience invites guests to “drop in” to the world of Fortnitemares, Fortnite’s annual Halloween event known for its spooky characters and horror-inspired gameplay.
The scare zone, Freaky Fields, transforms the streets of Halloween Horror Nights into a haunted battleground where guests will come face-to-face with familiar Fortnitemares characters, encounter the legendary Battle Bus, and experience brand-new characters created exclusively for Halloween Horror Nights. As the eerie landscape continues to evolve, guests will need to navigate the chaos and fight their way to victory.
Fans looking to bring the experience home can also shop new Fortnitemares-inspired merchandise, including a graphic T-shirt, decal set, and collectible acrylic piece. The collection is available now at Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood, with online sales beginning July 23 through Shop Universal.
Halloween Horror Nights runs select nights from August 28 through November 1 at Universal Orlando Resort and September 3 through November 1 at Universal Studios Hollywood, with even more haunted houses, scare zones, and entertainment still to be announced.
