From the Acropolis of Athens to the Peloponnese region to medieval streets of Rhodes, you’ll travel back in time on visits to some of history’s most iconic destinations. There are hands-on cooking and painting activities, as well as sailing and swimming in the turquoise waters of the Aegean Sea.
In Athens, tour the iconic Acropolis and the Parthenon, plus recreate Greek pottery during a hands-on pottery painting activity.
Explore the citadel of Mycenae, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the setting for many classic Greek myths.
Snorkel and kayak over an ancient, submerged archaeological site evoking images of the lost city of Atlantis.
Roam the streets of the Medieval City of Rhodes and see the site where the Colossus of Rhodes, a statue of Helios the Sun God, once stood.

Begin your adventure in one of ancient Greece’s most iconic landmarks—the Acropolis. Once the religious center for ancient Greeks, it stood as a symbol of Athenian democracy, philosophy and the arts. The most notable of the buildings that comprise the Acropolis complex is the Parthenon, a temple that was dedicated to the goddess Athena.
Listen to stories of Greek sculptors and painters as you are introduced to the techniques used by artists in ancient Greece. Then, channel your inner artist while painting pre-made pottery to take home as your own artifact.
Enjoy a family-style lunch of classic Greek cuisine, as well as live entertainment featuring Greek musicians, singers and dancers costumed in traditional attire.
Stroll through the oldest neighborhood in Athens, nicknamed the “Neighborhood of the Gods”. Discover ancient sites among the narrow streets lined with shops and eateries.
Experience Athens’ vibrant neighborhoods, featuring an array of shopping and dining opportunities. Enjoy a traditional Greek meal under the shadow of the Acropolis or savor modern and international cuisines at one of the city’s acclaimed restaurants.

Marvel at the Corinth Canal, a water passageway connecting the Ionian Sea with the Aegean Sea. Learn how this remarkable engineering achievement, which was first attempted by emperor Nero in AD 67, shortened the sailing route and created an international maritime hub.
Explore the center of the Mycenean civilization, considered to be the first Greeks. See the famous Lion Gate, the sole surviving monumental piece of Mycenean sculpture. You’ll also see many of the significant artifacts and jewelry discovered at the on-site museum and climb to the top of the citadel to where the Royal Palace once stood, for breathtaking views of the valley below.
Also known as the Tomb of Agamemnon, the site is a bridge connecting the mythical king of Mycenae from Homer’s epics to a tangible reality for ancient Greeks. Step inside the beehive burial structure, a marvel in architecture, and see how Agamemnon was honored and worshiped.
Visit an organic farm, where centuries-old farming methods are used to cultivate organic produce. Then, try your hand at making—and tasting—your very own orange cookies during a cooking class. As your cookies are baked in the kitchen by the farm staff, you’ll enjoy a family-style meal. Your cookies will be ready in time to enjoy as a delicious dessert.
After you’re checked in at the hotel, enjoy some relaxing pool time or savor a refreshing beverage on the hotel terrace.
Explore the Fortress of Palamidi, built high atop a hill overlooking the port city of Nafplio. Continue your afternoon with a walk through the historic center of Nafplio and take in the charming architecture built during the Venetian period.

Spend the morning with a visit to the Sanctuary of Asklepios, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Once a holistic healing center in ancient Greece and where observational healing was developed. While at the Sanctuary, sit in the Theater of Epidaurus, made with perfect architectural proportions and renowned for its amplified acoustics.
Following your visit to the Ancient Site of Epidaurus, enjoy lunch at a traditional seaside tavern.
Kayak the aquamarine waters of a cove that contains the submerged ruins of the Sunken City of Epidaurus. Then, snorkel above the ancient streets and structures located just 7 feet (2m) below the water’s surface.
You also have the option to settle into a beach chair on the sand and enjoy a relaxing day on the beach with the chance take a dip in the sea near the shore.
Once back at the hotel, enjoy an included dinner at your leisure. For Adventurers interested in returning to Nafplio, transportation to the historic center and back to the hotel will be provided.

Enjoy a boxed breakfast as you transfer from your hotel to Athens International Airport (ATH) where you’ll take a commercial flight to Rhodes International Airport (RHO).
After your arrival in Rhodes, stop for lunch at a beachside restaurant overlooking the Aegean Sea.
Step back in time as you walk through the charming Old Town of Rhodes, one of Europe’s largest and best-preserved fortified cities and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Tour the Palace of the Grand Master and the Street of the Knights where you’ll follow in the footsteps of the Knights of St. John who walked those same cobblestone lanes in the Middle Ages.
On the way back to the resort, you’ll stop for photo opportunities at the Windmills of the Mandraki that stand along the harbor and were once used to grind grains brought from visiting vessels. You will also stop for a photo op of the site where the Colossus of Rhodes, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, is believed to have stood.
Check-in to a seaside resort, your home for the next several nights. Enjoy some leisure time before gathering for dinner with your fellow Adventurers.

Traverse the narrow walkways of Lindos, a hillside town lined with whitewashed buildings, up to the Acropolis of Lindos, one of the 3 original cities of Rhodes. Once you reach the top of the citadel, explore the ancient ruins and marvel at the crystalline coast below. There will be time to explore the shops and cafes of Lindos.
From Lindos, you’ll board a traditional Greek boat and sail out onto the turquoise waters of the Mediterranean Sea. The boat will make a stop in a picturesque cove where you can cool off with a dip in the sea.
Take the opportunity to relax at one of the resort’s shimmering, turquoise pools or head down to the private beach. You can also choose to get pampered at the resort spa and wellness center.
Choose from among the resort’s 4 main restaurants for dinner.
Junior Adventurers and Adventure Guides will have dinner together before heading to one of the resort’s movie theaters for popcorn and a movie on the big screen.

Explore one of the oldest villages on Rhodes. Walk the small, cobbled streets lined with brightly painted houses, pebble mosaics and intricate wooden doors.
Take part in a hands-on cooking activity where you will make the traditional Greek dessert, Melekouni, a delicious sweet treat made of local sesame seeds and honey.
Savor traditional Rhodian cuisine, a unique mix of Middle Eastern, African and European flavors.
Back at the resort, you can enjoy one of the many amenities offered or head back to the medieval city for some last-minute shopping.
Join your fellow Adventurers for a farewell dinner where you’ll be entertained by a traditional Rhodian dance performance and relive your amazing memories from your magnificent journey.
