If you love setting sail with Disney Cruise Line, and especially if you’re a fan of booking a placeholder while onboard, there’s some exciting news coming your way. Starting with December 2025 sailings, guests will be able to save even more when using their Onboard Offer placeholder reservation on select voyages.
You’ll still get the classic 10% savings on most sailings, but now Disney Cruise Line is introducing an extra perk: a lineup of special sailings offering 20% and even 25% off!
Here’s a nice bonus…if your existing reservation suddenly qualifies for a higher discount than what you originally booked with, Disney will automatically apply the better savings for you—already paid in full? No problem. Any difference will be refunded to your original form of payment, and you (or your travel agent) will get a fresh confirmation showing the updated fare.
Concierge guests are also receiving some notable changes. Soon, you’ll be able to apply your placeholder reservation to save 10% on select Concierge staterooms (Categories 02B and lower) on select sailings. The previous onboard credit that came with the Concierge promotion is being replaced with this new 10% discount. Please note that there are additional blockout dates, which your travel agent can share with you.
And just like with regular staterooms, if a Concierge reservation becomes eligible for the 10% savings, it’ll automatically be applied, and refunds will be credited back to the original payment method when applicable. Overall, these updates make placeholders a little more flexible — and a lot more valuable. If you’re planning future sailings, now’s a great time to keep an eye on the December 2025 itineraries and see where those extra discounts might take you. Bon voyage!
