2025 is going to be such a fun year to consider visiting Walt Disney World! With so many new additions coming to the parks, it’s sure to be a hit with everyone in the family. Let’s take a peak of the new attractions and shows coming soon.
Hollywood Studios:
Disney Villains: Unfairly Ever After is coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios this summer. It will be taking over Lighting McQueen’s Racing Academy. It will have appearances by villains like Cruella de Vil, Captain Hook, Maleficent, and more!
The Litter Mermaid – Musical Adventure is also coming to Hollywood Studios. This brand new show coming swimming this way in the summer will is a reimagined story telling of the animated classic.
Other updates coming soon will be the transformation of the Muppets Courtyard as it prepares to become Monsters Inc Land. The Muppets will still be at Hollywood Studios but you can check them out in the new Rockin’ Rollercoaster makeover. There is no set date when this will transform.
Magic Kingdom:
Big Thunder Mountain will be closed for 2025 as it prepares for the new Villian’s themed land expansion however there are new things coming to Magic Kingdom that you will be able to experience this year.
Pirates of the Caribbean Tavern will be opening in late 2025.
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away will be a new night time parade coming to the parks this summer. It will feature characters from Peter Pan, Encanto, Frozen and be led by the Blue Fairy.
Epcot:
Test Track will be returning late 2025 to Epcot. This fan favorite attraction will be reimagined to feature a highlight of cars from past, present and future.
Spaceship Earth Lounge is a new area inspired by the stories and shapes of Spaceship Earth coming to Epcot spring of this year.
Animal Kingdom:
Enjoy Dinosaur and Dinoland this year because construction will start soon for its makeover into a Tropical Americas themed land and new Indiana Jones themed attraction.
a new Zootopia show is making it’s way to Animal Kingdom in winter 2025. It will be taking place of the Bugs Life, It’s Tough to be a Bug show. This new attraction will feature Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde taking guests through new biomes featured in the Zootopia movie.
So if you’re thinking about visiting Walt Disney World anytime in 2025 be prepared for a little construction but a whole lot more to see at the parks!
