A brand-new Disney resort is on the horizon — and it’s bringing a peaceful, nature-inspired escape to the shores of Bay Lake.
Disney has officially introduced Disney Lakeshore Lodge, a waterfront retreat currently in development at Walt Disney World Resort, with a projected opening in summer 2027.
This upcoming addition to the Disney Resorts Collection is designed to celebrate the beauty of nature while blending it seamlessly with the storytelling Disney is known for.
A Resort Inspired by Nature and Disney Storytelling
Disney Lakeshore Lodge will draw inspiration from Walt Disney’s lifelong appreciation for the outdoors, incorporating elements from beloved animated films that highlight the natural world.
Guests can expect subtle design influences inspired by:
- Bambi
- Pocahontas
- Brother Bear
From forest landscapes to sweeping natural vistas, the resort will reflect the artistry and emotion of these stories in a calm, immersive setting.
A Peaceful Escape on Bay Lake
Located along the tranquil shoreline of Bay Lake, this resort is designed to feel like a retreat from the energy of the parks.
Disney has shared that the space will feature:
