Disney fans, mark your calendars! Disney has officially unveiled the entertainment lineup for D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, taking place August 14–16, 2026, at the Anaheim Convention Center and Honda Center in Anaheim, California.
This year’s event promises three packed days of exclusive announcements, celebrity appearances, behind-the-scenes panels, live performances, and celebrations honoring some of Disney’s most beloved stories and creators.
Three Nights of Headline Events
Each evening at the Honda Center will spotlight a different area of The Walt Disney Company.
Friday, August 14 kicks off with the Disney Entertainment Showcase, where guests can expect first looks at upcoming movies, Disney+ series, games, and live productions. Disney is also teasing surprise celebrity appearances and brand-new announcements throughout the presentation.
On Saturday, August 15, fan-favorite host Neil Patrick Harris returns to lead the Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase. This presentation will explore what’s next for Disney Parks, resorts, cruise ships, and experiences around the world while giving fans an inside look at upcoming projects from Walt Disney Imagineering.
The weekend concludes on Sunday, August 16, with the prestigious Disney Legends Awards Ceremony, hosted by Ryan Seacrest. This year’s honorees include Anne Hathaway, Bob Iger, Dwayne Johnson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Alan Tudyk, the Jonas Brothers, Jerry Bruckheimer, Susan Egan, Eric Goldberg, Kim Irvine, and Chris Berman.

Beyond the major showcases, D23 attendees will have dozens of opportunities to dive deeper into their favorite franchises across multiple stages throughout the convention.

Music, Nostalgia, and Disney Legends
Music lovers will have plenty to enjoy throughout the weekend.
Disney Legend Alan Menken will perform a rare one-man concert featuring songs and stories from his legendary career, while the Disney Rewind Concert will transport fans back to the Disney hits of the ’80s and ’90s.
Additional programming includes conversations with Disney Legends, live podcast recordings, special musical performances, and exclusive looks at new Disney+ documentaries.
Shopping, Costumes, and Interactive Experiences
D23 isn’t just about announcements.
Guests can participate in the popular D23 Mousequerade Costume Contest, attend live demonstrations from Disney artists and animators, browse the largest show floor in event history, and even bid on authentic Disney Parks artifacts during the all-new Disney Experiences Auction.
Collectors can also enjoy programming focused on Disney pin trading, Disney Lorcana, merchandise reveals, and Disney-themed home décor.
Reservation Details
Many presentations at the Anaheim Convention Center will require reservations through Disney’s Reservation Selection Process (RSP).
Reservations open July 20 at 12:00 p.m. PT and close July 24 at 12:00 p.m. PT. Guests can rank their preferred experiences, with confirmations beginning to roll out on August 7. Standby lines will also be available for many convention center presentations.
