Hey Travellers,
We recently attended Universal Orlando’s Mardi Gras Celebrations, here is everything we tried and where you can purchase it from!
As soon as we entered the park, we noticed this sign that said we could purchase a $75 Food and Beverage Card for $65 meaning we would have $10 in savings! We planned to try quite a few of the different food and beverage items so this worked for us! They also had an Annual Pass holder exclusive card where you could pay $120 for a $150 Food and Beverage Card!
Location: Spanish Eats
Items we tried:
Papas Bravas
Sangria Flight
Both items were great! For me personally, the white sangria was the best and moving forward I’d just purchase this singularly rather than in the flight. The potatoes were well seasoned and extremely delicious.
Location: Colombia
Items we tried:
Colombia Burger
Our favourite item that we tried at Mardi Gras! There was a long line for this so we knew it would be good, it was most definitely worth the wait!
Location: New Orleans
Items we tried:
Chicken and Andouille Sausage Jambalaya
Very nice, the sausage was much better than the chicken! It was a bit cold so that was quite disappointing but overall we’d recommend giving it a try!
Location: Canada
Items we tried:
Caramelised Bacon and Onion Poutine
We were really excited about this one but it just wasn’t it for us. The cheese was cold while the rest of the dish was hot so it kind of threw us off! I did like that the fries were seasoned Curly Fries though!
Location: New Orleans Desserts
Items we tried:
Mini King Cake
Beignets (came with 4)
The King Cake was good, it was decorated perfectly and it was soft and had a nice flavour. The beignets were quite crunchy and seemed stale which was a bit disappointing.
Location: Coca-Cola Market Square
Items we tried:
Carnaval Paloma
This was delicious and very refreshing! It was a twist on a typical paloma! Definitely recommend this one!
