Hey Travellers,
Heading to Magic Kingdom and wondering where you should stand to watch The Festival of Fantasy Parade? Don’t worry we’ve got you covered!
First of all, what is the Festival of Fantasy Parade?
The unbridled enchantment and vivid pageantry of Fantasyland—and its many inhabitants—winds its way through the park in a thrilling parade spectacular. The dazzling mix of floats, motion and original music will keep you humming along for days to come. Be a part of this grand gala, with spectacular, state-of-the-art floats starring some of your favorite Disney Characters from Tangled, Peter Pan and The Little Mermaid. It’s a festival of fun for everyone!
Where Shall I View The Parade?
If you want the best experience of this parade and the best angle for photos/videos, there’s only one place where you should watch the Festival of Fantasy Parade, and that’s Main Street. Specifically the bottom of Main Street where the Roy/Mickey Statue is! You’ll have a perfect unrestricted view with Cinderella Castle as the backdrop, and considering this is a Fantasyland Parade – what could be more fitting?
With that being said, the sidewalks lining Main Street are great for seeing one side the parade up close and personal, however these are the most popular spots–meaning you have to arrive earlier or fight larger crowds–but you won’t get a clean background with Cinderella Castle. Instead, you’ll have the other side of Main Street and crowds of people as your backdrop. That’s why we’d recommend standing at the end of Main Street in the middle!
Hopefully this helps you for your next visit to Magic Kingdom!
