Hey Travellers,
Ready to set sail on an adventure of a lifetime with Disney Cruise Line?
Here are our TOP 5 Must Do’s when onboard a Disney Cruise!
- See ALL the Shows!
On each Disney Cruise, there is a variety of entertainment put together especially for you. From Trivia, to Dance Parties – there is something for everyone. However, the showstopper of the Disney Cruise Line experience has to be their Broadway-style shows! Each ship has multiple Broadway-style shows and you definitely should not miss them! From Beauty and the Beast on the Disney Dream to Frozen on the Disney Fantasy – these shows truly are spectacular! A special shoutout to the Sail Away Party too – that is the perfect show to start your vacation!
2. Explore the Kids Clubs!
The Kids Clubs on each Cruise Ship are themed superbly! Even if you don’t have a child, you’re able to explore the kids clubs as soon as you board the ship during the “open house”. After that, the kids clubs will be closed off to kids only! The kids clubs are also complimentary, included in your cruise fare. With specially trained cast members there to look after and entertain your children, you’ll want to make sure you get your use out of this!
3. Use the Rotational Dining!
One of the most special parts of Disney Cruise Line is their Rotational Dining! Disney Cruise Ships each have three main dining rooms that you will rotate between during your sailing. Your wait staff will also follow you to each restaurant every evening which we love because you’re able to build a connection with them! We recommend dining in each main dining room at least once! If your sailing length is 3 nights, you’ll dine in each dining room once, however if you’re on a longer sailing it will be more than once. There are quick service options also included in your cruise fare, however we strongly recommend utilising the Rotational Dining.
4. Download the Navigator App!
This is possibly the most important thing you can do before/during your cruise. The Navigator App is SO important and holds so much useful information. Every activity/show/character meet and greet will be on this app, showing the time/location. You can “heart” the ones you’re interested in and the app will automatically send you a reminder 15 minutes prior. The app can also be used as a chat function between your party and/or other guests onboard (only if you share your personal chat code). This is great to make sure everyone is able to stay in touch.
5. Get The Drink of the Day Mocktail/Cocktail
The drink of the day is not well known, but is so fun! The drink of the day changes every single day, you can find out what it is on the Navigator App or by asking at the Bars. There is a cocktail version and a mocktail version, both are the same price at around $6 + tax!! So cheap, and so fun trying different fun beverages each day!
