Tips for Making the Most of Your Party Night
With so much happening in just five hours, having a little plan can make a big difference. Here are some tips to help you get the most out of your Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party experience.
1. Arrive at 4:00 PM
Take advantage of the early entry perk! Arriving at 4:00 PM gives you extra time to enjoy attractions, grab dinner, and get settled before the party officially begins at 7:00 PM.
2. Prioritize the Exclusive Entertainment
The parade, fireworks, and castle stage show are some of the biggest highlights of the event. Check the entertainment schedule ahead of time and plan your evening around the experiences you don’t want to miss.
3. Don’t Forget the Complimentary Treats
Those cookies and holiday beverages are included with your party admission! Make time to stop at the treat locations throughout the evening.
4. Make a Character Wish List
If meeting holiday characters is important to your family, decide which experiences are at the top of your list. Some character meet-and-greets can have longer waits, so plan accordingly.
5. Save Some Attractions for Later
Many guests prioritize entertainment early in the evening. If rides are high on your list, consider enjoying some attractions later in the night when crowds may be lighter.
6. Dress for the Occasion
Holiday outfits, matching family pajamas, Christmas ears, and festive accessories are all part of the fun! Just remember that Florida weather can be unpredictable in November and December, so check the forecast before heading out.
7. Don’t Try to Do Everything
Five hours can go by quickly! Instead of rushing from one experience to another, choose your must-dos and leave room to enjoy the atmosphere. Sometimes the best Disney memories come from simply slowing down and taking it all in.
Is Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Worth It?
For many families, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of the highlights of a Walt Disney World holiday vacation.
Between the exclusive entertainment, festive character experiences, holiday attraction overlays, complimentary treats, and beautiful Christmas decorations, the event offers an experience you won’t get during a regular day at Magic Kingdom.
However, it’s important to remember that this is a separately ticketed event, so you’ll want to consider your vacation budget and how much time you have available.
If Christmas entertainment, special character experiences, and holiday traditions are high on your list, this event is absolutely worth considering!
