A brand-new Disney Cruise Line adventure is on the horizon! The Disney Believe, the newest addition to the Disney Cruise Line fleet, will set sail for the first time on December 18, 2027, from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
The fourth ship in Disney Cruise Line’s Wish Class, the Disney Believe will combine the magic of beloved Disney stories with brand-new entertainment, dining, recreation and family experiences.
The ship’s design and experiences will center around the idea of promise and possibility, inspired by Disney characters who believe in themselves, their dreams and the power of new horizons.
And there is plenty for Disney fans to look forward to.
Disney Believe Cruise Itineraries
The Disney Believe will offer four- and five-night cruises from South Florida to the Caribbean and The Bahamas.
Select sailings will visit one or both of Disney Cruise Line’s island destinations:
- Disney Castaway Cay
- Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
The Disney Believe will be the fourth ship in the Wish Class, joining the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny.
The ship is also part of Disney Cruise Line’s massive fleet expansion. By late 2030, Disney Cruise Line plans to have 13 ships sailing around the world.
A Grand Hall Inspired by Moana
One of the first things guests will experience aboard the Disney Believe is the ship’s Grand Hall, the central gathering space that welcomes guests aboard.
Inspired by the world of Moana, the Grand Hall brings together the sky and sea through its architecture and design.
A statue of Moana, along with her beloved companions Pua and Heihei, will greet guests as they begin their voyage.
The space will feature influences from the Pacific Islands and the ocean, including an ocean-inspired carpet decorated with bioluminescent colors and a dramatic chandelier inspired by the movement of the sea. At its center, guests will discover a hidden nod to the Heart of Te Fiti.
“Disney Encanto” Will Make Its Stage Debut
One of the biggest announcements for the Disney Believe is the debut of “Disney Encanto” at the Walt Disney Theatre.
The Academy Award-winning Walt Disney Animation Studios film will be adapted specifically for the stage, following Mirabel as she works to save her family and their magical home.
The production will draw inspiration from Colombian cultures through vibrant costumes, scenic design and traditional dance styles. Guests will also hear familiar songs from the film, including favorites from Disney Legend Lin-Manuel Miranda.

More Broadway-Style Entertainment
“Disney Encanto” won’t be the only theatrical production aboard the Disney Believe.
The ship will also feature:
- “Tangled: The Musical”, returning from the Disney Magic with a reimagined set and special effects exclusive to the Disney Believe
- “Disney Seas the Adventure”, featuring Disney and Pixar characters and beloved songs
Together, these productions will give guests plenty of opportunities to enjoy Disney storytelling while at sea.

Welcome to Gazelle: A New Zootopia Entertainment Hub
The Disney Believe will also introduce Gazelle, an entertainment space inspired by the bustling metropolis featured in Disney Animation’s Zootopia.
During the day, families can enjoy trivia, games and immersive character encounters. At night, the space will transform with adult-exclusive entertainment, silent discos and variety acts.
For the first time aboard Disney Cruise Line, Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will also star in a new family show. Guests will be invited to help the pair solve their latest case.
More Family Entertainment on the Disney Believe
Several popular Disney Cruise Line experiences will also return aboard the Disney Believe.
Guests can look forward to:
Pirate’s Rockin’ Parlay Party
A nighttime celebration featuring a live rock band and Disney Cruise Line’s famous fireworks at sea.

A futuristic sports arena offering games, free-play sports and family competitions.

New Dining Experiences Aboard the Disney Believe
Food is a major part of any Disney cruise, and the Disney Believe will introduce several new dining and beverage experiences.
Everyone Has a Seat at Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast
The ship’s newest family dining venue will take guests into an all-new chapter of the Frozen story.
Oaken’s Table will be set in a forest courtyard inspired by a Scandinavian sommerhus. Guests will dine alongside favorite Frozen characters including Oaken, Anna and Kristoff, while Oaken’s cousins provide musical entertainment featuring reimagined songs from the Frozen films.
1923
Returning from the other Wish Class ships, 1923 celebrates the history and artistry of Disney animation.
The restaurant will feature more than 1,000 drawings, props and animation tools from the Walt Disney Archives, highlighting stories including Lilo & Stitch, Alice in Wonderland, Toy Story and Peter Pan.
Worlds of Marvel
Also returning is Worlds of Marvel, featuring Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix.
Families can enjoy dinner to the beat of an “awesome mix” alongside Rocket and Groot.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets
After dinner, guests can stop by Inside Out: Joyful Sweets, a specialty shop inspired by Pixar’s Inside Out 2.
The space will feature larger-than-life sculptures of Joy, Sadness, Anxiety and Envy, along with the “Sense of Self” structure.
The menu will include nearly 20 flavors of gelato and ice cream, daily handcrafted gelato specials and an assortment of colorful sweets available for purchase.
Two New Cafes
The Disney Believe will also introduce two new cafes:
Big Hero Sips will be inspired by the San Fransokyo setting of Disney Animation’s Big Hero 6 and will offer coffee, tea and specialty beverages.
Café Kakamora will draw inspiration from Motunui and the mischievous Kakamora from Moana.
Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods
The upper decks will feature Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods, an open-air food court with a variety of options including barbecue, cantina bowls and salads, pizza, burgers and soft-serve ice cream.

At Skygazers, guests will step into an observatory-inspired pub filled with bookshelves, astronomical instruments, celestial maps and Disney storytelling details.

Older kids can also enjoy The Hideaway, featuring a dance floor and DJ booth.
Disney Believe Staterooms and Suites
The Disney Believe will offer comfortable accommodations designed with families in mind.
Staterooms will feature ample storage, roomy closets and elevated beds with generous under-bed storage. Most staterooms will also feature Disney Cruise Line’s signature split-bathroom concept.
Approximately 70% of staterooms will include a verandah, while more than 450 connecting doors will make it easier for larger families to stay close together.
The staterooms will feature papercut-style artwork inspired by Disney stories including Moana, Coco and The Lion King.

Royal Suites and the Believe Tower Suite
The Disney Believe will feature four Royal Suites inspired by beloved Disney stories.

Royal Rose Suites
Inspired by Beauty and the Beast, these suites will evoke the elegance of a French palace, with design details inspired by both Belle and the Beast.
Believe Tower Suite
Perhaps the most unique accommodation aboard the ship will be the Believe Tower Suite.
Located inside the forward funnel, this nearly 2,000-square-foot, two-story suite will sleep up to eight guests and feature two main bedrooms and four-and-a-half bathrooms.
Floor-to-ceiling windows will provide expansive views of the open horizon, while each room will draw inspiration from a different themed land of Magic Kingdom Park.
The living room will feature fireworks- and balloon-inspired light fixtures and artwork depicting Cinderella Castle.
A Ship Built Around the Power of Believing
Throughout the Disney Believe, the theme of promise and possibility will be woven into the ship’s design, entertainment and experiences.
Characters such as Moana, Mirabel and the characters of Frozen represent different aspects of believing — from believing in the power of nature to believing in magic and the importance of family.
At the bow of the ship, Tinker Bell will represent faith, trust and pixie dust, while larger-than-life sculptures of Buzz Lightyear and Woody at the stern will celebrate the dreamer within all of us.
