Universals Cabana Bay Beach Resort is brilliantly designed for fun and affordability and features amazing iconic architecture inspired by classic Florida beach resorts of the 1950s and 60s. Every day comes with fun for all ages with two massive pools, a lazy river, a bowling alley, and more!

 

Rooms:

The resort has 2,200 guest rooms and suites. Rooms come with two Queen-size beds with lush views of the hotel's tropical foliage and expansive pool area. Suites sleep up to 6 with two Queen-size beds and a pull-out sofa, plus it includes a sliding privacy partition.

Bayliner Diner:

This convenient food court has quick and easy breakfast, lunch, or dinner options. They have Deli, Pizza, Burger, Salad, and Dessert Stations. There’s also a "Grab and Go" area for snacks and drinks, perfect for stocking rooms or taking to the pool.

 

Galaxy Bowl Restaurant:

Guests can knock down pins and indulge in Americana at its best with made-to-order sandwiches, hamburgers, pizzas, chicken wings, and more. They have everything from snack items to full selections of appetizers, entrees, and drinks from the full-service bar. Their classic menu will give guests a boost to strike up a great game.

 

Starbucks:

Enjoy favorite coffees, teas, and snacks at the roomy, retro-chic Starbucks in the lobby for a morning boost or afternoon pick-me-up. 

 

Bars

 

Atomic Tonic: 

This shaded bar and grill is located on the Cabana Courtyard pool deck, and they serve sandwiches, wraps, salads, and Doner kebabs along with cold beer, wine, specialty cocktails, and non-alcoholic beverages.

The Hideaway Bar & Grill:

Guests can find snacks and meals, along with frozen drinks, cocktails, beer, and wine for a tropical poolside treat just steps away from the lazy river.

 

Swizzle Lounge:

This retro-inspired lounge in the hotel’s lobby serves a refreshing collection of made-to-order cocktails and snacks.

 

Pool:

The resort has two pools, one on each side of the resort. Both pool areas have zero-entry heated pools, food and drink options, white sand beaches, splash pads, and lifeguards on duty during opening hours.

 

The Cabana Courtyard has a decorative, iconic dive tower as its central feature. The pool features a 100-foot-long water slide, a splash pad, poolside activities (such as table tennis or hula hoop contests), a hot tub, picnic tables, a sandpit, and cabanas available to rent.

 

Lazy River Courtyard has a lazy river – the first at a Universal hotel. Guests are welcome to bring their own pool floats, or they can purchase one right by the pool. There’s also a courtyard with a slightly smaller zero-entry pool, more poolside games, a smaller splash pad for the kiddos, and a fire pit.

 

Resort Activities:

Scheduled resort activities for the day include poolside activities such as ping pong tournaments, splash contests, and more fun family activities! Galaxy Bowl is the hotel's very

own bowling alley featuring ten lanes of ten-pin action on the second floor of the lobby building. Guests can also play timeless arcade favorites or head into the world of modern video games at Game-O-Rama, located on the second floor of the hotel lobby building. 

 

Parking and Transportation:

This prime value hotel offers complimentary shuttle bus transportation to the hub at Universal CityWalk for access to Universal Studios Florida and Universal’s Islands of Adventure theme parks. An additional dedicated bus route connects the Value hotels to Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park.

Self-parking is $18 plus tax per night, per vehicle.

 

Spa & Fitness:

The Jack LaLanne Physical Fitness Studio is surrounded by memorabilia of the famed television physical fitness pioneer. This fitness studio is complimentary for hotel guests.
