Coming to Dark Universe at Epic Universe
Universal Orlando Resort is already planning its next big addition to Universal Epic Universe! The resort announced on November 5, 2026, that an all-new indoor thrill coaster is coming to Dark Universe, one of the five immersive worlds inside the theme park.
The upcoming attraction will bring another experience inspired by the iconic Universal Monsters franchise to Dark Universe. Construction is already underway, with the coaster expected to open in the years ahead.
A New Thrill Ride Coming to Dark Universe
Located next to the award-winning Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, the new indoor coaster will immerse guests in an entirely new story inspired by Universal’s legendary monsters.
While Universal has not yet revealed additional details about the attraction, its location in Dark Universe suggests another opportunity for guests to experience the darker side of Universal’s iconic storytelling.
Dark Universe is home to some of Universal’s most recognizable classic monsters, with immersive environments, attractions, dining, and entertainment inspired by the Universal Monsters legacy. The new coaster will add another thrilling experience to this already popular world.
