Having opened in December of 2019, Disney’s Riviera Resort is currently still Disney’s newest hotel. With its elegant European style, almost 300 villas, and being a Skyliner resort, we deem it one of the best resorts to stay at on Disney property. While it is a DVC property, the best part about it is that you do NOT have to be a Disney Vacation Club Member to stay here!
AMENITIES:
While it may only be one building, this resort has a lot to offer!
- Activities: An activity pool (with waterslide), a quiet pool, children’s splash pad, an oversized chess board, Corn Hole, Bocce Ball, a beach, campfires, movies on the lawn, an activity center, and more!
- Skyliner: This resort is one of only four Disney hotels that offer Disney’s Skyliner transportation. These gondolas are completely free and will transport you to one of the other three hotels, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Epcot.
DINING:
–Toppolino’s Terrace: For breakfast you can enjoy one of the BEST character dining’s on property. Join your pals Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy for a deliciously themed brunch. And if you are looking for an upscale signature dining experience, then dinner here is highly recommended.
-Primo Piatto: A quick-service restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. This is also said to be one of the best quick-service locations on property.
-Le Petit Cafe: What is the French Riviera without a cafe? Here you can treat yourself to specialty coffees and pastries.
-Bar Riva: This is an open-air bar located next to the pool that serves yummy drinks and food.
ROOMS:
This Deluxe Resort offers Tower Studios, One-Bedroom Villas, Two-Bedroom Villas, and Three-Bedroom Villas.
These rooms sleep anywhere from two to twelve people. Making them perfect for couples, families, and large parties. If you are looking for more space, storage, and room upgrades, these villas have just that! I would argue these are some of the most spacious rooms on property. They truly are the perfect combination of comfort and luxury. To see a full room tour, click here.
Overall Disney’s Riviera Resort does a great job of balancing modern European styles with Disney glamour. And is a Deluxe Disney Resort that we think you will love.
