Hey Travellers,
Disneyland recently invited us out to try their Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. We had heard so many great things and were excited to be able to try it ourselves! We took advantage of the “Sip and Savor Pass” that Disneyland have available for this festival. The “Sip and Savor Pass” costs $59 and it includes a commemorative lanyard and eight detachable tabs. Each tab is valid for one food/non-alcoholic beverage at the participating Food and Wine Festival Booths. You do not need to use all the eight tabs in one visit so if you want to use the “Sip and Savor Pass” over multiple visits you are more than welcome to!

What did we try?
Below we will include photos of everything we tried at the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival along with our honest reviews!
California Craft Brews:
The first time we tried was the IPA Sausage Dog. Think of a hot dog with cheese sauce but in a pretzel roll instead of a regular hot dog bun. It was very good and would receive an 8/10 rating. It would probably pair really nicely with one of the IPAs on the menu.
Paradise Garden Grill:
For the first time ever, Disney California Adventure Park has a full plant-based menu at one of its many dining locations, Paradise Garden Grill. From here, we tried the Impossible Gyro Fries and they did NOT disappoint. I am a meat eater myself, however I love Impossible Meat. This was probably one of our favourite dishes from the festival getting a 10/10 on the rating scale.
Nuts About Cheese:
From this booth we tried the Mickey Mouse Shaped Snickers Macaron. This was a great dessert option and huge! It could definitely be split between two people. The chocolate was delicious but very rich so you get full from it quickly. This gets a 7/10 on the rating scale.
Garlic Kissed:
You can smell the Garlic Kissed booth before you can even see it. We had heard great reviews from the Disney Team before we arrived so we knew it was a must do for us. We got started with the Garlic Carbonara Mac & Cheese with Bacon which was so creamy and delicious – a 9.5 on the rating scale. To wash it down we got the Raspberry Limoncello-ade which we paid for separately as it is an alcoholic beverage and not included with your eight tabs. It was a nice drink, very sweet but refreshing, a 7.5/10 on the rating scale. Lastly for this booth, we tried the Grilled Top Sirloin with Cheesy Mashed Potatoes. This was a definite 10/10. The meat was so soft and the mashed potatoes were so smooth and garlicy- lots of amazing flavours.
Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo:
The food at this Festival is too good. From this booth we tried the Smoked Honey-Habanero Chicken Wings which had the most amazing flavour but they were very spicy! If you’re not a lover of heat then we’d recommend steering clear of these. We love heat however so we thoroughly enjoyed them. They would get an 8.5/10 on the rating scale. The last item we tried was the Beef Brisket Slider. Again, it was very soft and tender meat with a lovely flavour – a rating of 8/10.
Merchandise:
The Festival also has its own exclusive merchandise which is a great way to commemorate your time at the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival. The merchandise stands can be found located throughout the park.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival and would highly recommend visiting. The festival runs until April 25th, 2023 so it’s not too late to plan a visit. And if you can’t make it this year, don’t worry! This festival will be back next year and it’s never too early to plan your next Disneyland visit so click here for your no-obligation quotes!
Happy Traveling!
